About Us

Pathlight offers services to two groups:

Busy Executors
Family members or friends who are serving as executor to a loved one's estate. For them, this process can be overwhelming and confusing. We aim to make it as simple and stream-lined as possible.

Aging Seniors
Seniors who want help with the process of getting their estates in order, transitioning to senior housing or down-sizing. For these seniors, we aim to help them give their loved ones the gift of an organized estate with lower potential for conflict after they're gone.

Hi, I’m Caroline

I started this company because walking alongside people during these important times of transition feels like an honor and a calling. It is my aim to help make the process of transition easier, simpler, and more efficient.

I am a Certified Estate and Trust Specialist as well as a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers and the National Association of Senior Move Managers. Previously, I worked as a finance executive at several Fortune 100 companies. My experience includes coaching and mentoring people in all areas of life, including career, business strategy, health and spirituality. I trained in coaching with IPEC (International Professional Excellence in Coaching). For ten years, I served as an advocate for victims of sexual assault and domestic violence.

My Story

After my great aunt experienced a significant health issue, I began taking on more and more of her affairs. After being independent her entire life, moving back and forth between homes across the country, I helped her automate her affairs, manage and sell her properties, distribute personal belongings to thirteen family members and transition to assisted living. I worked with her lawyer, accountant, financial advisor, medical and care teams, power of attorneys and more.

She spoke often of the relief and freedom my help brought her. I quickly realized that there was a great need for these services and that it was work I simply love to do.

Then, after a friend’s mother passed away, my friend, deep in mourning, living in a different state and running her own company, was overwhelmed with what it would take to execute her mother’s estate. I walked her through the entire process and realized there was an equally great need for helping people settle their parent’s or loved ones’ estates.
